Looks like the Rally is finally coming to an end in every which way...We sold Doris a few days ago. My mom was able to resist the Germany bureaucracy jungle and de-register the car with an additional letter from me saying that "I lost the registration papers", which I haven't cause they are in UB. And Freddy is back in beautiful Sydney and the sun is welcoming him...What's next - Pan Am Drive?

Going through the $$$, the Mongol Rally was probably the most expensive vacation I have ever taken. But I believe it holds true what Finley Peter Dunne said:
“Work is hard if you're paid to do it, and it's pleasure if you pay to be allowed to do it.” Same for the Rally :)

Looking at my passport now, I smile a little seeing 35 stamps & 8 VISAs - you can tell it's been a trip of a lifetime...
