Greetings!

As you would probably already know, Christian and Forry are part of the 2012 Mongol Rally. Whats the Mongol Rally you ask? Easy, get from London to Mongolia by car.

Picture driving yourself 10,000 miles from across 20 countries over 5 weeks. Not so bad you say? However, your car can only be worth about 2 weeks pay, and its engine capacity must be smaller than the milk in your fridge. Oooh yeah, now we have a challenge!

Why are we driving from London to Mongolia? Charity. Thats right, all money raised from you guys WILL be donated to Make A Wish foundation and The Lotus Childrens Centre

Now im going to be honest here, we will take your money and give you nothing, but its for a good cause at least. And by a good cause i mean the money will go to saving little kids in Mongolia, and granting a wish to kids who need it right here in Australia. Once we complete the rally, all money raised will be given to the above charitys.

Alrighty then. First blog update (for this blog). So far, 3 arrests been made, a piss cake eaten, front of car missing, alcohol smuggling, bribes being made for a lot of things, not one toll paid anywhere, pepper spraying of the eyes, 3 showers, 1 hotel in 2 weeks, foot chases, losing of both team mates cards, no cash, two drunken tattoos and were not even half way.

The Lotus Children’s Centre in Ulaanbaatar is a really awesome charity set up by an Australian who went to Mongolia once upon a time. Basically she started of by taking in a couple young homeless...
